No Dem Left Behind Announces Latest Round of U.S. House Endorsements:

Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Cora Neumann (MT-01), and Patrick Schmidt (KS-02)

WASHINGTON, DC — This week, No Dem Left Behind PAC announced its latest endorsements for U.S. House in the 2022 midterm elections.

Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Cora Neumann (MT-01), and Patrick Schmidt (KS-02) earned endorsements from the group, which focuses on elevating Democratic candidates in rural and working-class districts where Republicans have recently been dominant.

“Christina, Cora and Patrick all embody the kind of candidate we love to see run in these types of districts,” said Hassan Martini, Executive Director of No Dem Left Behind. “All three are running campaigns with broad bipartisan appeal focused on the kitchen table issues that matter to rural and working-class voters.”

“All three of our latest endorsements have firsthand knowledge of how hard it can be for rural and working-class Americans to get by,” added No Dem Left Behind spokesman Richard Ojeda. “Christina’s a law professor now, but she grew up in a trailer. Her dad had emphysema and lost his health insurance, so her family was forced to choose between paying for his medicine or paying for food, electricity, and everything else. Cora paid her way through school with a combination of loans and side gigs as a nanny, waitress, and construction worker. She still has student debt to this day. Patrick’s parents were both public school teachers who had to work second jobs to make ends meet, and like many rural and working-class young people, he chose to serve his country by joining the Navy after college.”

“Christina, Cora and Patrick aren’t out-of-touch career politicians,” Ojeda said, “they’re regular, hardworking folks who know what hardship is like and want to make life better for their friends and neighbors.”

Bohannan, who is running to unseat Republican Marianette Miller-Meeks in Iowa’s 1st district, currently serves in the Iowa House of Representatives and teaches law at the University of Iowa.

Neumann, running for Montana’s open 1st district seat, is a public health expert and advocate who runs We Are Montana, a charity launched during the pandemic to improve health care access and outcomes for rural Montanans.

Schmidt, seeking Kansas’s open 2nd district seat, is a former Naval Intelligence Officer who recently transitioned to the Naval Reserves.

“We’re incredibly excited about our newest round of endorsements,” Martini said. “We believe all three of them have what it takes to flip these previously red seats blue, and we’re thrilled to be able to support them.”
