No Dem Left Behind Endorses Josh Remillard for U.S. Congress
WASHINGTON D.C. — No Dem Left Behind proudly announces its endorsement of Josh Remillard for US Congress as he fights to defeat Madison Cawthorn in North Carolina’s 11th District Congressional Election.
After high school, Josh spent eight years serving in the Army, fearlessly protecting our country and keeping our citizens safe. In the Army, he toured in Baghdad and Mosul, where he served as the Platoon Sergeant and lead truck commissioner for his mortar platoon. Josh recognized the importance of sacrifice and selflessness at an early age, and continues to uphold the integrity and values the Army instilled in him.
“Josh is the real deal! A combat vet that knows what service is about. We need this man in Congress,” says No Dem Left Behind national spokesperson and former West Virginia state senator, Richard Ojeda.
When Josh came home to North Carolina, he used the leadership skills he learned through the Army and poured himself into battles closer to his community. Josh is a volunteer for Team Rubicon, an emergency response team that aids in natural disasters, health crises and humanitarian emergencies. He is a fervent supporter of his community members, from the homeless veterans in Henderson County who he helps find housing, to the children in Brevard who gleefully play in the skate park he helped build. And now he seeks to lend his support to the rest of his state.
