WASHINGTON, DC — No Dem Left Behind PAC proudly endorses Representative Val Demings as she challenges Trump sycophant Marco Rubio to represent the state of Florida in the United States Senate.
“To hear that Val Demings is taking on Marco Rubio was music to my ears.“ says No Dem Left Behind national spokesperson and former West Virginia state senator, Richard Ojeda. “It’s competency taking on incompetency. Marco Rubio is the poster child for ‘politicians getting nothing done.’ It’s time to send him packing. I’m excited to do whatever I can to help Val win.”
Demings is the candidate to beat Marco Rubio. She isn’t afraid of hard work. Rep. Demings got her first job at the age of 14 and was the first person in her family to graduate from college. Her entire career has been about public service and her genuine concern for others has always shown through. The people of Florida deserve a Senator who is actually concerned for their well-being and will advocate for them in Washington. And we know from her track record that she gets results.
Hassan Martini, executive director and founder of No Dem Left Behind: “When seeking out candidates for No Dem Left Behind to support, we always look for one characteristic — That’s love of public service. From her time as Orlando chief of police to her service as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Val Demings has always put the people of Florida first. This is something that cannot be said of Marco Rubio, whose allegiance is to the poll of the day. It is our great honor to support Val Demings for the United States Senate.“
Other congressional candidates endorsed by No Dem Left Behind are Tim Ryan, running to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate and Marcus Flowers for Georgia’s 14th congressional district.
