No Dem Left Behind Welcomes Another Veteran to the Coalition
CHICAGO, IL, August 7, 2020 — No Dem Left Behind is expanding to include Blair Walsingham (TN-01) in our coalition of Democratic candidates running in deep-red, mostly rural districts! This coalition is based on the idea that no district is unflippable and we are excited to be connecting Walsingham with the resources and support of other candidates running in their own red, rural districts across the country.
Tennessee 1st Congressional District candidate for U.S. Congress Blair Walsingham is endorsed by key community and national organizations, including former presidential candidate Andrew Yang. Blair is running on a platform of health, freedom, and financial security. She is a veteran, a mother of four, a small business owner, and a homesteader. Blair entered the military at the age of seventeen and served for six years. After an honorable discharge, she returned to civilian life and now lives in rural Hawkins County, with her husband and four children. Blair is laser-focused on putting people first and pursuing policies that will lead to reduced government interference into the lives of Americans.
NDLB is confident all states and all districts can be flipped, regardless of how deeply red they appear to be. Across the nation, Democrats are gearing up to take over Republican seats that have once been overlooked or considered impossible. We already have 12 candidates across nine states and we are connecting our candidates with the resources they need to ensure a Blue Wave this November. No Dem Left Behind is proud to stand behind Blair’s campaign and her candidacy to prove once and for all: Rural Democrats Do Exist.
