PRESS RELEASE: We are proud to announce three new coalition members.

No Dem Left Behind Adds Three New U.S. Congressional Candidates to Coalition

No Dem Left Behind is expanding their coalition to include Rob Anderson LA 3, Adam Christensen FL 3, and Tom Palzewicz WI 5, Democratic candidates running for Congress in 2020. The coalition is focused on flipping red, mostly rural, districts and states Blue. No Dem Left Behind’s efforts will connect Rob, Adam, and Tom to a group of Democratic candidates who, like them, are running in red districts.

CHICAGO, IL, May 11, 2020 — No Dem Left Behind has united candidates across the country, creating a coalition of Democrats who are fighting for working Americans. Every day, our coalition’s reach is spreading further across the country, as we connect candidates in deep red districts spanning the entire nation. We continue to connect to future voters and individuals who have lost touch with the Democratic party through our rapidly growing social media presence, as well as our virtual town hall meetings. The coalition’s expanding audience and reach led NDLB to receive dozens of applications from candidates requesting our support. With the help of so many passionate voters and members of the Democratic party that want to see change in deep red states, our coalition is now able to give crucial resources to three more Democratic candidates.

About Rob: Rob Anderson moved around the country with his military family until 1974 when they finally settled in Florida, where his heart became tied to the deep South. For decades, Anderson worked in the world of IT and finance, building a printing facility from the ground up and working for different esteemed financial institutions. He then moved from the world of finance and IT into the world of home construction, concrete construction, and geotechnical drilling, which led his family to Louisiana. Anderson’s varied life and career experiences have given him a pragmatic approach to the world. He gained an equal view of both what it was to be a manager and work as a team member on the ground. Rob Anderson is running to represent Louisiana’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

About Tom: Tom Palzewicz served six years in the Navy, running a nuclear reactor on a submarine tracking the enemy. Tom then went on to spend more than a decade dealing with Wall Street as a banker in his community, helping lenders and borrowers manage risk. Since 2004, Tom has run his own successful small business, and has helped create thousands of good-paying jobs, including more than 500 in 2016 alone. Tom’s expansive career experience in a variety of fields is a testament to his devotion to one core principle: leadership is about service. Tom Palzewicz is running to represent Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District in the U.S House of Representatives.

About Adam: Adam Christensen was raised in Palm Harbor, Florida before moving to Indiana. He later attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia as a 3-sport athlete, obtaining a degree in Biology. Following college, Adam decided to move back to Florida and started his first company with $3,000 in his pocket. Two years later he and his business partners started a second company, both of which are still operating in Gainesville, Florida. Having grown up a Republican in a deep red state and being a small business owner himself, he witnessed first-hand what can happen to communities hit hardest by financial greed. Adam Christensen is running to represent Florida’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S House of Representatives.

Adam is now our third candidate running for Congress from Florida, a key state in the upcoming election. Florida is currently a swing state but, due to the dedication of NDLB, our Democratic candidates are connecting with voters capable of turning the Sunshine State blue.

We continue to provide our candidates with invaluable resources for a national campaign, training candidates with little electoral experience. NDLB is confident all states and all districts can be flipped, regardless of how red. Across the nation, Democrats are gearing up to take Republican seats that have gone unchallenged for too long. No Dem Left Behind is proud to stand behind our candidates and their trailblazing, innovative campaigns to prove once and for all that Rural Democrats do exist.
